Charlie Munger (I don't know if any of you have heard of him), he is Buffett's gold partner, is a successful investor。Charlie Munger is a big fan of integrity，"Integrity is not just a virtue," he said，It's a strategy...There are things you can do，And you shouldn't either，You should have a line，You should have a compass in your heart...Every once in a while，We will have a chance to prove the point: we make more money by adhering to morality。Next, I would like to talk to the students about my five understandings of "integrity"。

First, honesty can force ability。Such as ancient poetry，Good faith writing do not read cheat sheets do not turn the book，Unfortunately, I can't remember the previous sentence or miswrite a word，Had to bring your own pen and paper as requested，Go over it in the office between classes，This repetition is deliberate practice，Strengthens memory，Therefore, it forces a stronger language ability;Take running exercises，(Here is a popular science for you，Pollen allergy is a physical cause，Not aggravated by running or general exercise) in good health or condition，I don't write notes or take time off or go to the probationary area，I don't hide in the bathroom and make a missing person，I can do the same as most of my classmates，Insist on normal running exercises every afternoon，Thus forcing a stronger and more fit individual physique。Winter Olympic champion Gu Ailing believes that beauty is not thin, beauty is strength, and insist on exercise to reflect the "strength of beauty"。

Second, honesty saves energy。Lying and covering up can take energy。Because you have to think, what kind of lies and cover-ups are so close to the truth that they can pass for the real。When you lie or cover up, you blush, worry about whether you will find out, and control your expression and acting。After lying and covering up, you have to remind yourself several times that I have planted a lie here, and I will subconsciously worry about whether I will find out in the future。So you see? It's exhausting。Each lie, it's like a chain on your back。Therefore, those who lie and violate their integrity will breathe a sigh of relief and sleep soundly at night after confessing。Therefore, in the long run, the integrity strategy saves a lot of internal energy, so that valuable energy can be used in the cutting edge。

Third, honesty makes the body healthy。This point is in line with the second point, "honesty saves energy"。Tell the truth, do the truth, be honest, and you will not have to expend your mind and inner life to remember every lie you plant。Medical research has shown that dishonesty, such as lying, can have six major effects on the body in the short term: the brain's nerve regulation ability is reduced, blood pressure is increased, heart rate is increased, blood vessels are constricted, stress hormones in the body are increased, and the body is tense, stiff and painful;If long-term, it may cause diabetes, inflammation of the body and so on。Born on January 1, 1924, Charlie Munger is now 100 years old, still in good health, bright eyes and free of the obvious common diseases of old age。Let us learn from Charlie Munger, nourish the body with integrity, care for life, and work for the health of the motherland for at least 50 years after learning。

Fourth, honesty makes mental health。A few days ago, the campus happened to steal rice card phenomenon，Some student in front of everyone in the cafeteria across the street，Holding a meal card that's not your own close to the card reader，I am afraid that I will suddenly feel nervous and even feel blood clotting;Some students hid in a corner of the campus and pulled out their mobile phones，Don't you worry about meeting teachers like Wang Peng or Li Bing and being so upset that you can't concentrate？In fact, emotions are like running water, which must be dredged from time to time, if you blindly cover up, sooner or later there will be a problem。People who are always honest, because they are always consistent inside and outside, will be mentally healthier and have stronger creativity。In the long run, keeping honesty can keep people mentally healthy。

Fifth, honesty is good for personal image。If you think of everyone as a company, you will find that everyone has their own personal brand。The better your brand is and the more people know it, the more valuable you will be。Especially in this Internet era, many circles of cooperation, cross-border hand in hand, personal brand is more and more important。Every time you're unreliable, every time you're dishonest, it hurts your personal brand。In the long run, an honest strategy will strengthen your personal brand。If a person is consistently honest, it will greatly reduce the cost of information transfer between him and others。As the old saying goes, surround yourself with smart people and reliable people。

These are my five understandings of "integrity"。However, for the exam, the best strategy is always in the usual ability first, I dare not say that integrity is a sufficient condition for the exam, having integrity does not mean that you can go forward in the exam, but integrity must be a necessary condition for the exam。Without it, your exams will be meaningless, and your youth will be ashamed. The difference is whether you know it or everyone knows it。A person, in the end how confused, how shortsighted, will take risks, intentionally to do dishonest things？For this, I really can not think!

The exam is only a fleeting moment on the road of life. Charlie Munger earned a huge fortune by honesty and hard work.
